This policy explains how Parxyz ("Parxyz", "we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website, parxyz.sarl. If you have any questions, contact us at contact@parxyz.sarl.

What this website collects

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, and it does not ask you to create an account or submit forms. All fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not send your data to third-party services.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical information such as IP addresses when it delivers pages, for security and operational purposes. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement for details.

When you email us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use this information only to reply to you and to manage any resulting relationship, such as a research collaboration, partnership or pilot. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement.

We keep correspondence only as long as needed for these purposes. We do not sell personal information and do not share it with third parties except service providers that help us operate our email, or where required by law.

Health and research data

This website does not collect health data. Any pilot, study or product evaluation that involves personal or health information is governed by a separate agreement and an informed-consent process, and by research ethics approval where applicable. We design our products to minimise data collection, using techniques such as on-device processing and federated learning.

International transfers

Our team works in Canada and Germany. If your information is processed outside your country, we take steps to ensure it receives a level of protection consistent with applicable data protection laws.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and Canada's PIPEDA, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email contact@parxyz.sarl. You may also complain to your data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your local EU supervisory authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
